Afternoon Tea question

Hello!

 

First time sailing Cunard coming up in December, and have a question about the afternoon tea - do they offer decaffeinated tea on board, or should I bring my own tea bags? I stopped drinking caffeine approximately 8-9 years ago, and am unable to have any drinks with caffeine any more or my body ends up shaking for days afterwards.

There are many types of tea onboard, including decaf. You should be able to get decaf tea at the afternoon tea.

When they come round with the teapots just ask if you can have decaf. They will bring you a pot of your own.

Twinings Decaf tea bags were available in buffet restaurant on our recent QM2 cruise and if you ask at any meal time in MDR or afternoon tea there will not be a problem.

There's also a coffee and tea station with a variety of teas on Deck2 forward, down the stairs from the entrance to Illuminations (the planetarium and insights lecture theatre).

You get decaf coffee in your cabin but not tea. You can pick up a few tea bags in the buffet and take them back to your room.

Just ask your cabin steward and they will be replaced with no problem no need to take from the buffet.

I brought a box of decaf tea with me on a recent crossing and didn't even open the box.  The fair offered was far support to my prior purchase at Whole Foods.
