SoberJulie Posted November 11, 2018 #1 Share Posted November 11, 2018 We typically bring our insulated Yeti travel mugs when we go to AI resorts. First time cruisers here. Do people bring/use these?
Cruising Golfer Posted November 11, 2018 #2 Share Posted November 11, 2018 We take ours on every cruise, just be sure to fill them with the small cups and not directly from the machine. Enjoy your cruise and have a cocktail for me.

dwayneb236 Posted November 11, 2018 #7 Share Posted November 11, 2018 Love my travel coffee mug. It's spill proof and keeps the coffee very hot, which is the way I like it. I'll travel around the ship in the very early morning and I like having coffee with me. It also keeps ice for a day or two as well if I go that direction. It's a Contiga brand.
1025cruise Posted November 11, 2018 #8 Share Posted November 11, 2018 Yes, bringing it is no issue. Just use their cups to fill it.

Do people bring/use these? There is no reason not to bring them. Some people do, most don't, just be aware that if using them for iced beverages, you need to put the ice and drink in them using a ship provided cup, instead of touching them to the dispenser. It is not a big, deal, just something to be aware of. if pouring coffee from a pot, you can put it in directly, but if it comes out of s dispenser the same rule applies. 1025cruise Posted November 12, 2018 #11 Share Posted November 12, 2018 I like having a larger cup I can carry around with me, versus having to constantly go get refills. I bring my big "bubba" for water, and a smaller one for iced tea.
hancock Posted November 12, 2018 #12 Share Posted November 12, 2018 I would suggest bringing an inexpensive mug. If you accidentally forget it somewhere, you won't regret it. Finding a lost Yeti mug might prove impossible.

Krazy Kruizers Posted November 13, 2018 #15 Share Posted November 13, 2018 We have never taken insulated cups on a cruise or a land vacation.

A $7.99 mug turns in $2.99 with the free coffee. Nice souvenir too.
cb at sea Posted November 14, 2018 #17 Share Posted November 14, 2018 Bring 'em if you're used to doing so. A ship is no different than any vacation.
