What’s your favorite Oceania calorie splurge?

My second ever Oceania cruise begins in just a few weeks - a week circumnavigating Cuba on Sirena. I have ‘prepped’ for vacation by eating sensibly and exercising and am happy to say I’ve lost 25 pounds.  But... I love food and I plan on splurging a little each day of our 7 night vacation.

So my question is... what splurges should not be missed and which are easy to avoid?  What is your one evil pleasure?.  My first cruise was on Riviera in the Med and I found the croissants to be splurge worthy along with most everything at Red Ginger while most desserts at the Terrace were tasteless.

Thanks in advance for your Insights!

I would say dessert  but I can see you do not care for them

if you think O desserts are tasteless do not go on HAL

Chocolate croissants  & the sugar donuts   I will have 1 per cruise

My favourite is the Lemon Chiffon ..less calories  & tastes good  to me

I'm with Petoonya.  I just adore those profiteroles ... problem is they weren't offered on our last two cruises at least.

I shouldn't say they "weren't offered": they may well have been offered on nights when we weren't dining in the GDR.

That looks very familiar to me!  I do think they used to have more chocolate sauce, though.

What seems different to you?

I thought  they had  creme/custard inside  not Ice cream

these were huge also

3 people  at the table  had them   they only could eat 2 of them 😉

I opted for  the Lemon Tart

Whenever I've had them -- and this goes back to Renaissance days -- the filling was vanilla ice cream.

Not that I'd argue about creme/custard ...

Chefs in the British tradition use creme, Continental types vary from iced cream to creme, Americans are almost universally Iced cream.

So, one never knows.........

The croissants (daily), grilled lobster and shrimp from the Terrace Cafe (for either before or after dinner snack), grilled lamb chops with a full breakfast in the GDR, adding a double shot of dark rum to the very nice fresh smoothies at the Smoothie bar (after breakfast snack), Grand Marnier in my Illy cappucino,........the list goes on!

We just returned from an 8 day on the Riviera, our first cruise with Oceania.  Made us want to take another one, soon........
