Tendering in Cabo

We will be on the NCL Star cruising in the Mexican Rivera.  We arrive in Cabo at 7am on the 19th of December and have planned an excursion at 8:30am.  We also have priority tendering thanks to Platinum status. Our ride to the excursion is at 7:30am.  I believe that we should be able to make it, but I am looking for recent experiences with tight scheduling.  Any thoughts fellow cruisers?

The tender to shore is a short 5 minute ride. You don't exactly say where you are to meet for your ride but I assume it is at the marina or just outside where the cabs are and that is another 5 minute walk at most.

My real concern is getting on a tender early.  Once we get off the tender everything should be fine.  Anyone with any luck getting on first or early tender at Cabo?
