espressoguy Posted January 26, 2019 #31 Share Posted January 26, 2019 Sorry, I meant to rent a golf cart from Bonaire Cruisers.

Just make a reservation via email and pay ($95) when you pick up the golf cart. They also require a $100 deposit which is returned when you return the cart. JMVHO Ehh no biggie. We did the mad max tour in st. kitts and felt safe the entire time. Loads of fun and would do again in a heartbeat!

We have this scheduled for our May cruise and I'm really looking forward to it! And you can add landsailing to your trip with Woodwind for the best in Bonaire experiences! Barton Seagoon Posted February 24, 2019 #35 Share Posted February 24, 2019 We got back from the Caribbean last weekend, and while we were on Bonaire we hired one of the golf carts. We enjoyed having the freedom and the feel of the wind in our hair. The cart is so small and you are going slowly so you can stop almost anywhere to enjoy the view. We saw flamingos in the South of the island, and stopped for a drink at Sorobon beach, which had plenty of other golf carts in the car park. Only two small hiccups. The roads are very bumpy in places, and after a couple of hours we were getting a bit tired of getting bounced around. There are no doors or seatbelts in the cart, so if you have a nervous passenger... The other hiccup was that there are no real road signs at junctions, so we took a wrong turn at one point and spent half an hour trying to find the right way to the beach we were trying to find. The service given by the operators is excellent. My advice is to grab your sense of adventure and have a go.
LifesaBanquet Posted October 3, 2019 #36 Share Posted October 3, 2019 We've done the golf cart rental twice and it was fantastic! You feel very safe, the locals seem to appreciate you and are very gracious. If you haven't done it yet try it. Too Cool
miss_rach Posted October 6, 2019 #37 Share Posted October 6, 2019 If we rent a golf cart can we bring it and park it at the water taxi for a few hours to catch it over to Klien Bonaire? I've been told if I want to snorkel its the best place out of all three (ABC) Islands to do it at.
