I would have loved to follow along live however I was also on a ship last week (on another line 😉) with even worse WiFi than the Bliss.

Now I have to go over the RC boards... hope to find another awesome live review

Loving all the photos -- thanks so much!  How was the snorkeling in the Indians?  Did you see an incredible amount of fish or coral?

Cheers,

Mostly fish, and great rock formations and fans...

Thanks as always for great review, just got off Escape last month, sure do enjoy the toro toro, great drink.  So is Escape still your favorite ship or did you like the overall layout of the Bliss more?

I believe the Escape is still my favorite, though I would't hesitate to sail the Bliss again in a second... Pincho Tapas is still my favorite NCL dining venue, and only on the Escape...

I especially enjoyed the information while you had your night out in Miami. We are staying in the Brickell area for two nights pre cruise in a few months.  I am looking forward to the food and drinks.

Hey , what the heck is a charcoal bun. Like shown in the picture of those sliders you got in Miami.  . It did not look edible. How was it.

The charcoal bun is mostly just to give a unique color, no taste at all... Charcoal is extremely healthy for you too...

Alrighty, then... I was able, with my superior typing skills of over four words per minute, to compile the thank you list for the adventure that we all just endured... I can't express enough how much that you're input meant to me over the last week or so. My life is pretty much void of purpose without my travels, and sharing it with you fine people. I often went for years without even a single vacation, thinking that the cost involved were just not worth it. After the loss of my best friend nearly five years ago, I realized that there is a lot more to life than just being responsible, and paying bills and such. Through her passing, I found a reason to live, and do it without regard for debt and always worrying about the future. The future is now, and if you aren't doing things and having experiences that you will remember forever, then you're doing it wrong. You're memories are the only thing that no one can take away from you... I don't make nearly enough money to cruise 3 or 4 times a year like I have been, not by a long shot. But, in this world you never know how long you really have, so you better do the things you want to do while you're able.

My travels are meant to bring meaning to my life when I thought it had no meaning. When they put me in the ground, I don't want my tombstone to read "Here lies Sid. He had lots of money and material things"... I want it to say "He may be broke, but he spent it all doing the things he loved..."

Without further adieu... The thank you list for my wonderful adventure on the Bliss is as follows: Lupush, Noworkforme23, jkburns, adam3313, cruisestan2, mkcurran, marktwothousand, Diann24, mochwr, OceanBlueWaters, jbhcw, HeyJut, kpark895, Kealy, zencruisers, cincicruisers, blarko, skakeNbake, TravelGirlinDallas, Jme4166, candigirl41, whiterose79, bochest124, retiring soon, morety, trish4bruce, LuvCruSun, emm126, MzShae, ktmush2, JJAukland, SNJCruisers, SenatorsFan, itseaya, CazV, sandy85, Steff79, SAmome, Milly1966, ww3traveler, 50SumthnCruiser, HBCruiser, sexy50, Chesneygirl, kcruz, samiam0403, Tropicalgurl, NCLgetawaymenhoney, kackles, Hooked!, Saint Greg, MusterDrill55, HideoutII, 8373seth, CincyJen, meatball_nyc, Dayana, Hooked Already, david_sobe, LinnieRed, Beachiekeen, MsJersey84, ClevelandCrusin, Shidah, dcipjr, Just Jo, BigNance, ClaireAndMike, saintsfan777, perditax, ESCARGO, fuentecat, klarson1027, ev98, MrFunInTheSun, jpc763, All-ready2cruise, Jldevin, pbxtech, tanyaewa, rxlowry, JC5240, CRUISERMOMX3, mccallister, MrMike45, CelticMCO, pebbles1102, cml4958, Nittany Cruise, Cole Thornton, 2+2, purpleally, kenmyfam, itolduso, pinklucky61, need2cruisesoon, bina, DeanDeeDee, smokie36, Stlcardsfan79, edspec, and Yorkvillain......

Sid,

You have the right attitude. Like you, I have decided to travel with family as much as I can and make great memories. Work will always be there, my mom, dad and loved ones may not be. I hope to see you on a cruise someday. Until then, take care and keep enjoying life!

This is great!  I will have to find that one too.  I will be on the Bliss in February, so thank you again for all of your updates!  Where is your next cruise?

Thanks sid for your review & time taken to show us all around the ship!  The ship looed beautiful and I loved the artwork (along with the food & drink porn).Got to tell you I am still a little freaked out about the spider. I could not have left my bag until I had seen it leave.  I am doing my first ever solo cruise in a couple of weeks (Jewel) and am a bit nervous (I will be throwing back a few tequilas...but maybe not enough to test your hangover cures!). Thanks again for your review & I look forward to your next one (if the problems with the internet connection hasn't put you off).

Cheers

Julie

Thanks for another amazing and amusing review. You have a great outlook on life. You're a great photographer too. Which phone did you use for the beautiful beach shots? I need to upgrade to a new big girl phone and would love a recommendation.

Actually, all of my port photos were taken with my 3 1/2 year old Motorola Droid Turbo II, which they don't even make anymore, and is obsolete by today's standards... Everything else was on my Google Pixel II XL, which has a state of the art camera. Thanks again for following...

Hats off, Kudos to you Sid, and thanks for all your efforts (followed along but forgot to subscribe).

I've read many "live" reviews and this has to be the most enjoyable while still paying homage to the famous late night  postings from the "Dougout"

Take care and hope to cruise with you one day 🙂

Sid, thanks for the thanks.  I just love your attitude and am trying to adopt a little of it myself.  Took two vacations this year, after years of never taking any, and am planning my second cruise for next April.

And thank you for taking time to keep us all entertained and informed.  It is much appreciated.

Sid... or your real name? your humility is very sweet. You have such panache, it's really a shame you can't bottle it and sell it... you'd be a millionaire before you reached... well, my age for sure, lol.  I keep going back in your review to make sure I didnt' miss anything. Thanks again for taking so much your time to share so much  of your cruise.

Be well and prosper..

cheers

Yeah...I just binged watched added pics!  Super cool pics!  Glad it all worked out!

I am heading out on 10/13/19 for Bermuda on Escape out of NY (simple Bucket List item to hit Bermuda).  I love your attitude and will try to "squeeze" in another cruise in between there.

I had an amazing time my last Solo Cruise, therefore I want more 🙂

I met up with "CC Roll Call" and we had a blast!  I can't believe I am still alive!  LOL!  I could tell you stories, but I am not gonna hijack :classic_ohmy:

Solo rates are CRAZY and NCL only has a handful of ships that have Solo Cabins that subsidize. Sailings are limited, and I need definitive plans for work.  Damn!  I wish I could book 1 week in advance!   LOL!

Work hard, play hard.  You are correct...life is too short 🙂

I will be following when you set sail in February....

🙂

What a treat to follow along. Thanks so much

Regarding OL, my favorite plan is to take a group of fellow cruisers, have a few drinks, and sit next to the sleepers. I know I get louder the more drinks I have! Sure to wake them up.

Will look forward to future reviews. Enjoy!
