So enjoyed your review - you made it feel as if we were along with you!!  I really loved your humor throughout your posts.  We are looking forward to our Panama cruise on the Bliss at the end of March, and you gave us many ideas for that cruise.  Thanks so much for sharing.

Alrighty then. I've got my Droid hooked up to some actual WiFi now, and I'll try to fill in some of the missing pieces that I was not able to upload while on board. I guess I'll go all the way back to St John first, since Trunk Bay is so beautiful. Forgive me if some of these are duplicates, I'm just going to start laying them down...

Notice in the second photo the flags are at half staff. I think that they've been that way since the hurricane.IMG_20181204_082214156.thumb.jpg.fedc1d9e93964ae15242d675b76f870c.jpg

I wonder if there is any way we could contact NCL with a complaint about nappers in the lounge. Does anyone have contact info/feedback email address I can write to?

i would definitely be willing to send a note this week, as my Bliss cruise is Christmas.

the only way the situation will be resolved is by speaking up, it might be a case of...”no one is bothering to say anything, so NCL doesn’t really consider it a priority”.

NCL is pretty on top of chair hogs, so maybe they’ll pay attention to this too.

other option is...if you’re in a group, you could sit near a napper, have a loud chat and play some music on a speaker to deter them.

You are kidding yourself.  If you put a comfy chair or sofa in front of an ocean view window on a cruise and many will fall asleep.  Personally, I find it offensive people sleep there.  I cannot sleep in a chair or sofa. I need to be in a bed LOL  But I don't see NCL chasing people from the observation lounge. This is the concept they developed and they will live with the consequences.  Chair hogs are on every cruise and every ship.  That will never change.

I agree they won’t chuck people out just for sleeping in upright chairs, but it doesn’t stop other guests from being around them and making noise.

however, I do think NCL has a responsibility to clear out the people who are sleeping across several sections of couches and keeping entire 3-seaters to themselves, as well as people sleeping on floors.

Not sure why that stairwell photo duplicated, but now we move on to the Aristocat catamaran charter in Tortola... My battery may die in the middle of this, but I'm just going to continue until that happens... We sailed South from Road Town towards Norman island, where the caves are located. Legend is that pirates hid treasure in these caves long long ago. The captain of the catamaran said if we find any treasure we'd have to split it with them. Spoiler alert, we didn't find any, but I did bring back a couple of souvenir rocks from inside the cave.

As you can see, it was foggy for a bit, then it rained, but it turned out nice once we got over there.

Next, we moved on to one of the great scenic sites in all the Caribbean, and also a great snorkeling area. The Indians... A great monolith rising out of the sea. I guess it's technically not a monolith because there are four of them, so whatever four of those are called. They said we could swim all the way around in a clockwise direction. I grabbed my mask and borrowed fins and headed out. Now, I'm a pretty strong swimmer, but when I got about half way, I was like "s#!t I may not even survive this"... I had no choice but to continue on, so I gave it all I had, and obviously I made it back or you wouldn't be reading this right now...

I’d be willing to write as well if you find an address.

Washy washy every day. Good for me, good for you... I wish that whomever brought the cruise crud on board would've visited...

By the way, he's the happiest guy on the ship.

Best Washy Washy guy in the Norwegian fleet.  As we disembarked on December 1, he was standing on Deck 8 waving goodbye and small children ran to him and hugged him and I was honestly in tears. He was magic.  We made up Washy Washy Christmas songs with him during our voyage.  Dammit, what is his name? He should be a star.
