Down by the Bay, an Australian gannet came a lot closer to the shore than usual.

Friday during my 2 hour maximum time outside, I went through the Botanic Gardens. Greeted by large amounts of squawking and and pine cones falling all about the place. A flock of yellow tailed balk cockatoos had come in for lunch. They hide within the branches getting at the choicest cones.

Visited the wetlands on the Gulf yesterday.  It's migration season.

 

Spoonbills I believe.

Ruby throated hummingbirds migrate through here too.

These guys were hanging out next to the golf course enjoying the sunshine and some Norfolk Island pine cones etc.
