Bliss Casino & CAS- your experiences?

Can anyone update us on your experiences in the casino on NCL's new Bliss?   Haven't see much information about the casino since the the TA.

Is there a good variety of slots available?     Who is Executive Host or other Hosts?

How was the casino bar?  It looks like that area is set up differently than on the Escape.

I was on the Bliss in October, very much liked the glassed in smoking section.  There is a fair amount of slot machines,  I personally prefer dollar machines and they seem to be going more towards penny machines. Christina Bicca was the host at that time,  She is a good host and takes pretty good care of the players.  I really enjoyed the Bliss, the observation lounge is beautiful, a really nice addition.

It seems like all the newest slots are penny, even if they take 8.88 to play full 😉

 

I hope Christina Bicca is still on the ship in February.  She is a great host and such a nice lady.

I asked her where she wound be next and she had more time on the Bliss, I can't remember when she said she would have time off.  She is a great host, she has been the Excutive Host on my last 3 or 4 NCL cruises.  Getaway, Escape, and Bliss.

As of New Years she was still there. Her brother posted a picture of her that night.

Cristina will be there until at least the end of January. She recently was promoted to VP of On Board Casino Events and will travel ship to ship overseeing promotional events.

All of NCL's casinos have them, so I'm sure the Bliss does as well.  They usually come out around 11.00-11.30pm.

I was on the Bliss this February. Nice ship. Interesting the only two smoking areas was deck 17 and the Bliss casino section which attracted the smokers and gave them more reason to gamble.

I thought the slots were tight fortunately for me I play poker as well and won the poker cruise tournament for December. I've posted a thread if anyone's interested in buying it.

Just got off the Bliss and loved the casino.  Saw several hand-pays.   I didn't have a hand-pay but did hit 4 'Majors' of over $800 each on the Dancing Drums machines and some other good amounts that kept us playing :)

The current Exec Host was Rex Aquirre but he will be leaving for his break in a couple of months.   He was on the Dawn with us in November of 2017.  Great guy and we thought the entire  CAS staff on board was very friendly.
