Member e-newsletter from Carnival

I stopped receiving the e-newsletter from Carnival about a year ago. They used to come quarterly. All other email from Carnival arrives so they have my correct email address.

 

This is supposed to be a "benefit" of the VIFP program. Is anyone receiving the e-newsletter?

i never get anything. the only thing i get is booking confirmations and emails about the cheers package and other non-important things related to my booking

I have been cruising on Carnival since 2011, a VIFP member since the first cruise, and have never received such a newsletter.

 

As another poster stated I get e-mails specific to my bookings, but that's all.

We don't have a Carnival cruise booked, but took two this year.  I've been getting "Happy HollaDays" marketing e-mails recently, new ship information, and the "Away We Go" Newsletter e-mails.

They get a brief glance (maybe), then deleted - you aren't missing much in my opinion.

I get at least one e-mail a week trying to get me to book  another cruise but haven't gotten a newsletter in years and I've had a VIFP number since 1999.  In fact, it's been so long ago that I did get one that I don't even remember what info they had in them.

Thanks for your input. The e-newsletter is still listed as a benefit of the VIFP program but based on our experiences it seems to have fallen by the wayside. Someone other than me ( never joined FB and based on what has happened am glad ) should ask the brand ambassador what's up. I won't miss the recipes and interviews necessarily but if it's done it's done and should be removed from the benefits list. 

We'd gladly accept a third bottle of water in lieu of the e-newsletter. 😉
