MicCanberra- has the Australian one arrived yet?Ā

Hoping you see the friendly wombat...Ā  šŸ˜„

Loved the wombat episode.

Ā

My problem with Jane is her idea of a basic cabin. I cannot remember the series; the episode number or the ship she was on but she was excited because her basic cabin had a bath. When mum and I checked out her cabin, on the ships web page,Ā we found the cheapest cabins only had showers.

In her farewell on the Christmas special, she said she'd be in Australia for 5 weeks!

Looking forward to the next series...

Being a Wakefield lass myself, it's good to hear someone speaking with the correct accent....:classic_rolleyes:Ā

LOL, Wakefield has produced some good ones then.

Australia and NZ in the 4th series. Well worth spending more than 5 weeks here discovering the many areas of interest.

I enjoyed Jane's new series, which was onĀ Channel 5 last night (4 Jan). I would love to try Harry's pie, mash and mushy peas.

What does anyone else think of last nights episode?

Ā

The pies are good, with mushy peas even better. A nice Pie floater is great.

We enjoyed it, because she always visits the unusual, such as the hippy village on the Gold Coast.

Not sure about a hippy village on the Gold Coast, was it Byron Bay or Nimbin perhaps?Ā  they are close but in NSW about an hour and a half south.

That would make sense.

As mentioned, it is not really Gold Coast but it is relatively close (aussie standards) and as Brisbane (the likely port) is just another hour north of the Gold Coast, so about a 3 hour drive each way. Makes for a long day.

S he's back cruising on Channel 5 on Good Friday, 19th April.

Thanks, yes- and starts with a river cruise. I can only film on this TV a week in advance, but my finger is poised to press the button this Friday!šŸ˜Ž
