CBD oil and the Caribbean

I can’t find any information about traveling with CBD oil.

Does anyone know if it’s ok to travel while using CBD oil in the Caribbean.

I imagine the problem might be when you come back.  Presume you would not be taking it ashore?

Won’t be taking it ashore - just don’t want to get stopped in Barbados

Oh I see, you're flying in.  Hmmm, do you have a prescription, then it should be OK.  Otherwise I wouldn't chance it.

I would check Barbados government website to check if it is prohibited.

 

There has been several high profile cases this year of people bringing drugs in to foreign countries that are legal in their own country.

 

1. Woman in prison in Turkey because she brought pain tablets with her that she bought over the counter in the UK

 

2. Man serving 15 years for bringing CBD Oil with him in Thailand.

If its not prescribed don't take it. This includes over the counter meds.  We had some US friends over recently, the wife is a vet with a specialism in drugs.

 

She was amazed we could go into Boots and buy Sudafed.  No way in the US.
