Oslo Taxi Availability

Recommended Posts

Be aware that taxis are very expensive. A 10-minute trip within the city can easily cost 200 NOK or more.

Different companies have different rates, so you do not have to take the first taxi in the queue.

(And if you’re headed to the airport, be sure to ask for the fixed rate, as a metered daytime trip will easily cost over 1200 NOK.)

Anyone knows approximately how much is taxi cost from the cruise port to the Vigeland Sculpture Park?  Thank you.

I would expect it to be around 250 NOK.

Public transport is much cheaper and is plentiful.

Taxis are very expensive. We have a taxi booked to transfer us from our hotel near the station to the cruise terminal - a 10 minute journey - and it’s costing us 500NOK ($57)  for a van for 6. A taxi for 2 would be 300NOK ($34)

We’re using a taxi because we’ll have all our luggage!
