Classic Beverage Package - getting a drink over $ limit

In the past, if you had the classic bev package you could not just pay the difference to get a drink not covered on that package, but with premium you could. Has thing changed? If I want a $14 wine and only $9 is covered under the classic package, do I pay $5 or $14?

You will pay the difference ($5.00 in your example) plus the 18% gratuity.
