NFL Playoffs

Some pricing seems reasonable on early January HAL sailings so I'm dangling the possibility of booking.  I was just wondering if there are venues on HAL ships that would show NFL playoff games (and NCAA championship game) live.  TIA.

On our world cruise in 2017 they did.   Of course it depends on the satellite coverage but we were in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and we saw them all (and the super bowl) just fine.

We just realized we sail away on Super Bowl Sunday. Fingers crossed somewhere with seating will be showing the game.

I wouldn't plan on it, especially on sail away day.  As noted, your best bet will be the Gallery Bar.

We  boarded the Eurodam on 12-23, "sail away day" and saw the entire NFL Seahawks game in the Gallery bar.  We really enjoyed ourselves and there were plenty of other fans watching the Seahawks defeat KC.

We were sailing between Cape Horn and Antarctica for the 2015 Superbowl. They showed the game in the Main Showroom, other venues and in your room for you viewing pleasure. They even set up seats for sale in the Main Showroom, that came with all you could drink/eat for the duration of the game.

Typically they have the Super Bowl in the main show room with tail gate food.  It is the ESPN coverage so you don't get to see the commercials from the national coverage.

I suspect it being the first day will dampen their super bowl party plans (kickoff’s at 3:30p before we even set sail from San Diego), but we’ll definitely investigate once onboard!
