It depends on the cruise and type of cabin.   Generally you can expect to get a lower Deposit and additional OBC (On-Board Credit).  They also often have additional perks.    Be aware that perks are generally not available on Repositioning Cruises and Transatlantic/Transpacific cruises). 

 

Once you book on board you have the ability to transfer to an Travel Agent that may offer additional perks or OBC's.

Just wanted to add that transoceanic/repositioning bookings do get the same OBC perk as a 4-5 night cruise.
