Semi-limited Live: Escape to W. Caribbean 14 days Jan 6, 2019

Here we go, bags are packed & ready to go ... ship came back early, disembarkation seemed smooth.  We are excited to be onboard again for the next 15 days (14 nights)

Standby, Dexddd, etc. for interim & random "key" updates as we progress along ... maybe meatball_nyc would be waiving at sailaway toward us, except we are portside & might be too windy to be outside, we will see.  As usual, post your questions, comments & requests, etc. and I will get to them as best as I can, satellite WiFi time is what it is & we will be "metering" our usage, limited - no plans to upgrade at this point.  We will be using Google Fi in almost all the foreign ports as long as there are cellular coverage with roaming partners.

Getting out of the winter chills !!

Anxiously following! Have a superb cruise in every way possible. Would be interested to know if they have multiple types of shows in the Supper Club (both free and pay) that would be in addition to Choir of Man.

Smooth Sailing!

I’ll be waving from the PTZ port cam mking 😎

So jealous...14 days! Wish I had more vacation time.

Let us know how you find Escape as compared to BA, crowd wise. My son wants to go smaller ships, like the Jewel class. So we haven’t booked anything for so long.

Bon Voyage and Safe Sailing to you and your family!  🗽

Got it, hi ... meatball_nyc, will do.

Not too crowded, still coming off the ship. Fastest check in, under 20 minutes ... In the Platinum lounge, zone 2 ...

Passengers are now all off the ship, inside the building. There are taxis waiting on arrival level.

I'll chime in as well.  When BA was out there were discussions why BA had such poor overall scores.  Then GA came out and being essentially the same, scores were quite a bit higher.  How could that be?

Having sailed BA a couple years in, I'd agree it just seemed to give a bad impression of mega ships and seems to have a certain negative vibe to it.  Read reviews of Escape from BA guests who said how much better it was so we booked.

I'd agree it was much better in numerous small ways and crowding and we had a great time.  I highly doubt we'd sail BA again.

We do like Jewel class and even the Spirit.

Staterooms aren't ready yet @ 1:15 pm, sipping our coffee in a not too crowded MDR.

Alvin is CD on board & Joey ??? Asst. CD.

Connected to she's WiFi, booked LeBistro for Tuesday, and Moderno next week, plenty of availability, whether it's for 2, 3 or 4, etc.

After this sailing, I will see if I can do a different kind of review. BTW, very few children on this cruise & it's an older crowd, as expected.

Norwegian App's optional call & message function, still $9.95 for unlimited 14 days of usage.

I will be following your posts, as we come on when you get off. I am wondering about the Canvas and you, as I really want to do that. Also am curious about tickets for the comedy club, as I love to laugh. Have a great cruise. I will be in cabin 11792 in 14 days 🙂

2 of our larger checked bags waiting when we came back from muster drills, the smaller one isn't here yet.

Red-Sol, Medical Center is on Deck 13 Forward, behind a set of double doors just behind Fwd Elevators.  Sharps container is in the bathroom, ok.

Sail away party on Pool Deck ... Thanks, we'll pass, woman in a long mink coat headed straight to safety drill & she's probably ready.

Our treats today ... time to unpack.
