Overhead bins on Equinox

Does anyone know the dimensions of the over bed storage area.  Interested in buying dollar store bins and would like to get right size

I have collapsible bins that are 10.5 x 10.5 X 11 and they fit nicely in the overhead  abinets.

I can fit 3 of the approx. size listed by jelayne in each overhead bin.

Interesting, we did not have any overhead bins above the bed in our cabin.

I believe the bins are on the S class ships, not the M class ships.  I am not sure if they are in all cabins, or just certain cabins.  I do  not know if they are in Edge cabins.   My wife, who is about 5' 2", cannot reach them.

I am also 5'2" and have a hard time reaching them. But we had plenty of room in the drawers for our pants,  and hung our shirts on the hangers.

I'm onboard Reflection right now and I just measured the overhead bin. It is 11 3/8" deep, 12 1/4" tall (actual clearance with the hinged door), and 44 3/8" long. There are two of these bins mounted on the wall side by side over our bed. 

 

We brought just 3 of the collapsible cubes of the same dimension mentioned by jelayne with us that are in our cabin right now.

Interesting but I don't understand the need, not that my perspective makes any difference.  We just stack our folded shirts,  pashminas, sweaters etc in these very handy bins

We always bring 8 - no problem fitting 4 on each side.
