Irish weather is not cooperating as we have missed Waterford our first port due to high swelling and inability to tender. Cobh is today's port but by rain threatening. Welcome to Irish weather.

How sad...we had gorgeous weather in Ireland and the British Isles last week.

Looks quite nice.  Have not been there.  What is there to do?  Hope to be there one of these days.

Welcome to the Rock.  You go to Newfoundland for the people, not the weather.  It is a very colourful city, as a matter of fact the oldest city in North America.  There is a very interesting brewery Where they bottle their beer in blue bottles (makes a good souvenir) There are a couple of good museums to visit, one has quite a bit on the Titanic, lovely hikes around town and people watching is fantastic

I wasn't complaining...just posting my morning pictures. It's actually a lovely warm sunny day!

I've been here before so just walking around town today. Got a mani/pedi!

Fish & chips lunch at the Bagel Cafe...ummm.

LIsa, I wasn't accusing you of complaining.  That is what the locals said to us the entire time we were visiting The Rock.  The people are incredible all over the province.  Quite the characters.  I was actually answering the question, what to see there?  Sorry about that.

After all that travel, the Insignia is now less than 50 miles from France.....😮

French Overseas Territory, that is...😄

The tiny islands of St. Pierre and Miquelon off the coast of Newfoundland, are the only remaining French territory in North America.  Their currency is the Euro...😎

Enjoying reading about your World Cruise,  I just found the thread so have a bit of catching up.  But this does not matter to me.  The longest cruise I've been on is 15 days (Panama Canal).  Once a year I review each cruise, next week I will be reviewing my Alaska Cruise

Smooth sailing, and fair winds

Here we are in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada!

Happy Canada Day to all our Canadian fellow passengers and other CC readers!

We were told that everything's closed except for shops on the pier and since it's chilly and rainy, that will be my destination today.

As Leslie would say, “I feel movement”😄

...😎

So happy you are posting here once again. I have enjoyed every one of them.

I have not sailed with the great Leslie in several years; no one compares.

What a wonderful SHOCK when Bob walked up to me in Horizons!!!  Just had to give him a big hug!

So glad you're back (and looking really good!)...now I don't have to try to catch the pilot or tugs!  Haha.

Hoping there'll be a celebration soon...😉

What great news.  So both Bob and Betsy are back on board and can finish the cruise.  What a terrific ending for all you ATW.
