We will be cruising next year when the NCAA football championship game occurs. Do the ships show the game??

Depends on where you're sailing from, satellite availability, and the network it's airing on. When you get closer to the sailing Princess will probably be able to get you an answer because they plan the tv programming ahead of time.

I have found that Princess and the other cruise line are very good in getting access to major sporting events.  After all, they can sell some serious amounts of alcohol to the passengers (I do not mean that to be a negative). Over the years, we have been on cruises that included the Superbowl, NCAA basketball final four/ finals, baseball World Series, FIFA championships and other events. Nothing on Curling, presumably because it takes too many personnel to wake the passengers. If you are on a cruise during the BCS championship, bank on it being shown on the MUTS and perhaps, other venues if in range of a satellite.

Thanks for replies. We will be on a 15 day cruise during next year’s game. We will be between the Panama Canal and Columbia. Might work out since the game is in New Orleans! Lol

It has less to do with where the game is than with who is broadcasting it.  Princess shows games from certain networks but not all.  Generally ESPN is shown but cannot be sure a year away.

The 2018 NCAA championship game was broadcast on the Caribbean Princess Panama Canal sailing in January 2018, both on MUTS and on TV in cabin. Hope you have the same good luck. I don't believe that it was listed in the Patter for the day and inquiries at the passenger services desk in the days prior didn't reveal favorable information, but when the time came, it was on!
