How to Change Profile Picture/Avatar in the New Format

Can anyone tell me how to change my photo/avatar in the new format? Yes, I have searched for threads, but they have been ZERO help. When I click on my user name and then profile, I can't find any way to change it. If I click on my current photo/avatar, I just get a tiny view of the current picture with no way to change it. Thanks!

See if the info in the second post of this thread helps; I haven't tried it.   (In your profile, over in the lower left corner of your avatar, there is a little camera icon.  I have not clicked on it, but that may be what you need to click.)
