Christmas markets AMS-BUD?

Even though I'd prefer to do a city visit (still maybe on the table) husband does love river cruises, so I've started to look at Budapest options for a Christmas markets cruise (our first/only RC so far was NUE-BSL Christmas markets Dec 2014). I don't see any cruises (so far...) that do "all" of Europe - the Amsterdam to Budapest itinerary. Is that too long an itinerary for around the holidays? Not popular/not selling? Just curious, don't recall reading anything on here about why that might be....

I'm fairly well aware of the dates of markets, thanks. Also probably not able to take that much time off (we're not retired - I can take off work but husband runs his own company and doesn't like to be away that long). I was really just curious as to why it's not an option. Still don't know the answer to that šŸ˜‰
