Rare Beamafar Posted January 11, 2019 #2 Share Posted January 11, 2019 Here is what it says on the website in relation to gluten-free menus: Gluten-Free Cuisine: MSC Cruises has obtained a certification from Bureau Veritas to provide gluten-free menus worldwide (food code: 20 ppm) in the main restaurants of MSC Preziosa, MSC Divina, MSC Splendida, MSC Fantasia, MSC Magnifica, MSC Poesia, MSC Orchestra and MSC Musica. - Gluten-free menus are also available on MSC Meraviglia. Gluten-Free menus from breakfast through to lunch and dinner in the main restaurants. Afternoon tea (pre-packed snacks) in the buffet restaurants Gluten-free lunchboxes for carefree excursions and visits to ports of call Wide choice of gluten-free beverages, including cocktails and beers All gluten-free recipes are prepared by skilled personnel in dedicated kitchens on board, using products stored in special areas in accordance with the "Cruises Project" of the Associazione Italiana Celiachia (Italian Coeliac Association) with which MSC works closely for the above ships, cruising in the Mediterranean and in Northern Europe. On MSC Armonia, MSC Sinfonia, MSC Opera and MSC Lirica guests can find only a limited selection of pre-packaged gluten-free snacks such as, biscuits, croissants, sponge cakes and muffins. Rare Beamafar Posted January 12, 2019 #4 Share Posted January 12, 2019 You're welcome! You need to fill out a special dietary requirements form before sailing so that the ship will be notified as to the nature of your needs. I also suggest that you speak with the m'D on embarkation (he's usually available late in the afternoon - Guest Services can advise which main dining room you'll find him in). cathep Posted January 12, 2019 #5 Share Posted January 12, 2019 It's our Fenwick Life has a video of what she got for her gf restricted diet. She got gf croissants and French bread. That's part of what sold me on this cruise. I also eat gf because of ulcerative colitis. There's a form I've filled out from the website for special needs. I'll also check in with the staff once on the ship in the spring.
