What would you do?

Looking at a cruise in March of 2020. We have a hold on Navigator which will be refurbished. 

Thinking of changing to Harmony. Would you do Harmony or refurbished Navigator?

2 different experiences.  I was on the refurbished Mariner over the summer.  Voyager/Freedom class still my favorite class but, they can only spit and shine so much.  Public areas were in great shape  (Mariner) and the addition of water slides and skypad was cool but rooms weren't touched.  

Harmony is "latest and greatest" for what that's worth.  Booked on it myself for Dec '19..Oh wait, it's 2019 already.... smh

Itineraries exactly the same?  Price the same?  Stateroom category the same?

I also prefer Voyager & Freedom class over Oasis class.  If you've never sailed O class though I'd give Harmony a go just to experience it.  Depends on what you're interested in.  If entertainment and multiple dining options are more your thing I'd also go with Harmony.

We've been on both.    Both are quite nice.      You are choosing between degrees of goodness, so you can't lose.     I would choose the itinerary you like best.

Since both ships are sailing the Caribbean (east/west are all the same to us), we would select the Harmony. More things to do and see on the ship.

Navigator in March 20 just does 3 and 4 nights Bahamas cruises which goes to just two ports, Nassau and Coco Cay,  which isn't great especially if one wants to do a B2B for a total of seven nights.

Harmony does 7 nights eastern and western Caribbean cruises which include Coco Cay and either are far better itineraries in my opinion.

Wes were actually thinking about doing a B2B on the Navigator and going to Perfect Day twice. I know Harmony will have more to do. The new Navigator looks amazing though. I should mention I’ll be traveling with two teens.

Navigator would be an ocean balcony and a Promenade room.

Harmony would be two Central Park balconies. Harmony is about $600 more.

I love Mon(e)y, so I would go for the gator. The teens will have a great time.

For traveling with teens, I'd definitely do Harmony.  There is so much to do and it may be easier for them to meet others their ages to have fun with on the cruise.

"Refurbished" means nothing.  They might add or subtract spaces, or simply scour the hull of barnacles.  It's not like a home renovation!

Nothing compares to Oasis Class, it is a world of it's own. With kids it would be hands down Harmony. When sailing Oasis class it is for the ship not the  itineraries. Check out youtube of the ships.
