Costa Maya excursions

Hello,

Has anyone done an excursion in Costa Maya that they really enjoyed?  It is me (50 yo woman) and my 14 yo daughter going over spring break.  We are snorkeling and doing a catamaran at  our other ports through private tour companies.  Thanks for any insights and suggestions!

We did the Chacchoben Mayan Ruins tour with Native Choice.  It is an approx. 45 minute ride to the ruins, about 2 hours with a guide, 1 hour to self explore and then the ride back to the port.    We quite enjoyed ourselves, and would do it again, if only to get more time at the ruins to explore more.
