Freeport: Paradise Cove vs. Pirate's Cove

Last time we were in Freeeport was just after the hurricane and everything was still a mess.  We did a day trip to Paradise Cove, basically because it was the only place open.  Considering Pirate's Cove this time, and just wondering if anybody has been to both and could do a quick comparison for me.  I know the main differences (zipline and water toys) but am curious to hear about how the beaches, snorkelling, etc. compare between the two.

Has anyone visited both Pirates Cove and Paradise Cove in Freeport Bahamas? I’d appreciate any input on both. Taking a cruise in September to the Bahamas and planning to take an excursion to one of the two. It seems like both get good reviews on TripAdvisor. 
From my readings it seems like Paradise Cove is smaller and has better snorkeling. While Pirates Cove is larger an offers an excursion via the cruise line.
