Platinum Concierge?

We recently tried to find platinum concierge on Bliss. No one seemed to know that this service existed. We ended up at social and teppanyaki to book everything; long lines. We also used the touch screens near the elevators. We needed to change some times for dining, for that we needed a real person.

We have been Platinum Plus since the beginning.  Have only had one ship....a LONG time ago....that gave us the number to concierge.  Then the concierge was like "who gave you this number?"

We love the touch screens by the stairs.  Huge improvement to taking care of things onboard.

Lol. We haven’t either. Technically they are there for Platinum non-suite pax but I think they are overloaded with the suites.

On Epic now. Inquired about it because they are not using a reservation system for the headliners comedy shows. Lines begin to form 40-50 minutes prior to show, with standing room only about 20-25 minutes before start time, if you can even get in the door. Absolute chaos. I inquired about the platinum concierge service and got a deer in the headlights look. It really should be removed from the list of perks.

If it makes you feel any better except for the Cirque and Priscilla shows we had to wait in those same long lines too.   And we were in the DOS.  We made friends waiting.  🙂

Totally agree. We have been Platinum then Platinum Plus (when it was established) for a long time. Only had one concierge offer any assistance on the Star.

Last time we're informed by NCL (voluntary, not asked of) of this "virtual" perk was probably 3 or 4 years ago on the Breakaway's old "firework" era - and, the information was part of the "Welcome Abroad" letter, with an extension # to call, not even a name ... mainly, referred to as help with specialty dining reservations.  Second & third time around on the BA, not a word & the letter replaced with the Latitude mini-booklet w. 3 coupons - any & all help needed gone to the onboard CruiseNext/Latitude reps on duty.

Earlier this month on the Escape, there were large # of Latitude Platinum, Plus & 7 Ambassadors onboard tor the sailing - the reception was moved to & held in the much larger Supper Club - look at it on their side, practically, quite a challenge to provide the services to even a fraction of qualified Platinim/Plus members.  The iTV touchscreen & new Norwegian App can pretty take care of booking those reservations.
