Rijeka to Plitvice National Park?

Our cruise has a stop in Rijeka, Croatia from 7:00am until 4:00pm this summer (early June)

Would it be crazy to consider visiting Plitvice falls?

Does the ship do a tour? If not it's over 2 hours drive and the ship will not wait if you don't get back on time. Seems a very long way for the limited time you would have there

Have you checked the distance and  travel options on a site such as rometorio?

 

Given the distance, your only options are a shorex, a car rental, or a taxi and driver who will wait for you while you have a quick look around. As above, driving is the fastest way to cover the distance, but if a car rental is involved you also need to allow time for paperwork for both pick-up and return.

 

Only youselves can decide if a very short time there is worth that amount of effort and time.

I think we are on the same ship and want the same tour

 

June 2nd at Rijeka? Let's go together. Im travelling with my wife, will be our Honeymoon and want to visit Plitvice but have shortime and we are looking for not-so-expensive prices

Sorry unfortunately no tour companies were willing to take us so we signed up for something else
