We always do Carnival for Halloween. We are also booked on the 31st. Wish it was a few days sooner than the 31st.

Did Halloween on other ships. Boring. I told my TA. As soon as it comes out. Book us for Halloween. Just think Halloween on the Mardi Gras. How great is that?

More colors, more fun!

Wow! 12354 is an excellent  location.

BBB (Bed by the Bathroom).

Thanks for the confirmation - that is what I was thinking.   I would prefer the bed by the balcony but I would rather have that balcony location. 😊

We have room 10342 for Nov 7th cruise.  Can you tell me our bed location.  We actually prefer bed by bathroom unlike many others.  Appears to be a good location especially since it was the same price as regular balc when we booked?  Thanks for the video and all the hard work it took to pull it together.

I've done a few Halloween cruises on other ships, all were fun for me, but you're right, Halloween on the Mardi Gras is going to be a blast!!! I also wish it was not on the first night of the cruise, but oh well.

We have Aft Balcony 14521.  Any idea where the bed will be in this room?

Hi Warm Breezes,

14521: the bed should be by the balcony.

Happy cruising!

How do you figure out what the floor plan style is?

We have 10350 (the middle of the middle hump).

I match cabin layouts (explained in the video - please FF to 10:40) with deck plans.

10350: this location is excellent. Large balcony, unobstructed views. The bed is by the balcony. 🙂

A minor drawback is connecting cabins (10350 & 10354).

Happy cruising!

ronbe65,

Thanks so much!

I kept telling myself it wouldn’t matter, but....that’s my preference!

You are welcome. Hope I will have no problem with the connecting door.

I've been in connecting cabins, and found no difference.

I've been too. Once we had a kind of noisy  neighbors. Nothing major though.

Carnival has revealed more images of Mardi Gras open decks.

A mini pool on Deck 8 aft ("Summer Landing":

Tides Pool on Deck 16 aft. It appears that the ship will not have a separate pool for kids.

Hmm…looks like you wouldn't want lower deck balconies or excel suite on the starboard side. Between the bar and the hot tubs, privacy and noise could very well be a big problem.  From what I've seen of the port side, there appears to be a covered area in the same location.  I am assuming that the area might be outside seating for Guy's Pig and Anchor. It looks like the port side might be a better location.

RoperDK,

You are right.

However I would skip Deck 9 entirely (except for the Middle Hump).
