Time to look around before joining ship?

Hello

We are flying out to Barbados and will join our ship the same day.  This is with P&O.  We land at 3:15pm, and are coached to the ship. At the moment we don't know what time the ship leaves port, but wondered if anyone else had done this and whether we will get any time to look around before sailing? Obviously we won't be able to go far from the ship, but it seems a shame to get there and not have some time to see the place.

Grateful for any replies on this:classic_smile:

Sorry, but we may have missed something.

You do not know what time your ship sails, but you booked a flight that arrives @ 3.15 pm on the same day.

Potential Time Lines:

There could be a chance your flight will be delayed up to one hour.

If there are multiple flight arrivals, immigration could take 1.50 hours.

Taxi Q and drive to Port 45 minutes with congestion.

Checkin a possible 1 hour.

Drop off hand luggage at stateroom 15 minutes.

Then walk to Taxi rank 15 minutes for a short tour.

Sunset starts to happen from about 16.00 hours

And your ship sails at......?

It's all booked through P&O so not done it all off the cuff. Any changes will be dealt with by them. We just don't have a sailing time at present and wondered if anyone else had taken the cruise with the same details and can tell us if there was any spare time.

However since posting I've read a review from a previous passenger and have found what I need, but thank you for taking the time to reply.
