Booking Summit cruise right after updates.....

We are looking at a possible Southern Caribbean sailing in April, right after the March "revolutionizing".  We'd be booking Aqua Class, and I understand some new cabins will be added by the Spa.  How does one go about seeing that plan and possibly booking one of those cabins? If we choose a stateroom now, can we move to one of the new ones as soon as they are announced?

Also, one of the sailings under consideration is April 6. What are the chances they'll still be doing work around the ship at that point?

Thanks!

If you book in the US, you can easily request to change cabins prior to final payment....if they are in the same class as booked, they will be at the same $'s as you booked.  If you book a cabin in a different category, you will pay the current price of that cabin when you transfer/book it....

As far as taking a cruise right after the makeover, it's likely that some work will not be completed...and there's no way to know in advance if it will effect your experience or not.  Generally speaking, it's a bit more risky taking any cruise just before or after a planned drydock.
