Harry and Mary here, we are in northern Illinois. Yes it’s freezing outside. We also are booked on this cruise. This will be our 4th Journeys cruise, first on a mega ship. Conquest class is the largest we have ever cruised on. Let the count down begin.

Hi everyone, Don and Karen here, we booked this cruise in a Havana Cabana room .. We had one on the Vista and loved it,  this is a nice long cruise so the Havana area will be great to have. The ship has a great Itinerary and can't wait to get on board to check the ship out..

Im on, it will be my first Journey's cruise, looking forward to that and all the ports.  We are paying extra to be in havanna as we LOVED it on Vista, but this one looks so small.... and someone said it won't be restricted in the day (I hope that is not true).  If anyone has any insight please share thanks!

Welcome everyone! I’m beyond excited and wish it weren’t so far away! I booked a balcony and now wished that I had gone with a suite given the number of days and the fact I’ve never been on a cruise with so many days! Can’t wait to get to know you all as we patiently wait for September 2020!!!

Welcome to to all. Has anybody cruised out of N.Y. before? If so, any suggestions on hotels in New Jersey, Weehawken area or Manhattan west side. Trying to get some prelim logistics together. Flying into Newark or LaGuadia, which ever one gives the best flight schedule.

dchoney, you’ll love the 15 days. All we do are 10 to 15 day cruises. The distance we have to travel just for 7 day or less is not worth the travel time.

Hey  dchoney,

Curt and Val here from Norfolk. Thanks so  much for the welcome. Looks like  we both took a cruise on the Horizon in 2018!  Oh, by the way, we are on this sailing!

Yes we found out the time will probably be the same but the size of the area has been reduced per the deck plan. It only shows a small corner pool.  Guess we will walk through pixels and the atrium to get to the hot tub in summer landing.  We decided to keep the cabin as it's close to everything except lido and serenity.

For those that have done long cruises before, please share your experiences. How did you spend your sea days? I'm really excited but with so many sea days I'm a little nervous about getting bored. I know there will be a lot of activities throughout the cruise but does it get repetitive? I generally live in the casino but plan to try to experience the fun and activities this cruise!

By the way, we are coming from Woodbridge, VA (Northern Virginia). Where is everyone else from?

We are from Rockford I’ll. Since we have very long distances to travel, wheather we drive or fly, the past 3 years we have taken only 10 day or more cruises. This will be our 4th Journeys cruise, I will give one, and let others chime in. Sleep in, relax in the dining room for breakfast or sea day brunch. Steak and eggs is my favorite.  We have been going the past two cruises and really enjoy it

Just relax !! we have done mostly 12 to 14 day cruises and find that the days at sea are great for chilling out. When your in port these day can be really hectic so relax your on holiday, also some of the day time shows are really good fun so look at the daily news letter to give you some ideas. 😉😴

We just changed our AFT balcony to a Havana front extended cabana. It came up this morning on carnivals website so I upgraded. I love the Havana area,  I did the Vista for 17 days b2b from NY and totally loved it. Hopefully this cruise will be just as awsome.....

Hello everyone!  Patti and I will be joining you on this cruise. We had originally booked to be on the first cruise from Port Canaveral, but we decided to switch to this cruise because it leaves from our home port of New York, and it is a longer Journeys cruise. I was able to snag the same hump balcony (11358) that I had booked for the other cruise. Didn't think that would be possible since the 8J's & 8 K's don't show on the website, but my PVP said it was available. Great itinerary and plenty of sea days!
