baliliving Posted February 4, 2019 #1 Share Posted February 4, 2019 We enjoy the specialty restaurants when cruising but having never been on the Explorer before, or any other RCI ship, is the pre-booked 3 night dining package of $111.39 AUD per person good value , or should we wait until we board? Thanks again for any feedback.
spirit28 Posted February 4, 2019 #2 Share Posted February 4, 2019 We purchased the 3 night dining package pre-cruise for a recent Explorer cruise. In the last month or so leading up to our cruise I would get an email every week or so promoting various sales/discounts on tours, drink packages etc. I think we got the dining package for around $80 something each from one of these emails. Might be worth keeping an eye out. I thought it was pretty good value at that price and enjoyed the all the venues.
M-H-B Posted February 4, 2019 #3 Share Posted February 4, 2019 They seem to be between $40-60 each for one dinner so you’d definitely be saving on buying them individually. You could always purchase at this rate and then cancel/rebook at the lower price if you see it cheaper in the weeks before you cruise.
baliliving Posted February 4, 2019 Author #4 Share Posted February 4, 2019 Thanks for the advice folks. Will buy the package for both of us and cancel and rebook if a better price comes out later 😁
