One of our shipmates on this cruise , Geo Nomad sent us this this interactive map of our voyage

For the hour by hour position, speed, and weather of the ship during this voyage along with the closest Wikipedia points of interest at any time, take a look at the mashup I had running while we

were cruising. Click on the circled i to see the info at that location/time.

I have never seen an interactive map like this one. Very cool.

And though not bored by any of your pics, I especially love the one of the other small boat compared to the glacier. I am a very visual person, and that pic was very telling.

I haven't either until they showed it to us . Here's one that we shared with our roll call before the trip .

Just now you can see the Zaandam and the Eclipse headed to Antarctica . I do like to use a reference point to show the scale of the object in the photo .

When we entered Puerto Las Vacas  we were told to take a hike . We didn't see any cows but this greeted us instead

and this small bird singing at the top of his lungs

Both of us were having some knee issues so we walked around the boat a little

Love all the details.  That boat looks very comfortable.

The food also looks good.

Great pictures -- even to the calving of the glaciers.

Not sure I want water with glacier ice in it.

It was a nice day cruise with great weather and food . They also had wine and bottled water which we always carry - just in case .

I am now convinced that I would have tears in my eyes, if I ever had a chance to see such an exquisite side of Mother Nature as these glaciers in person. Thank you for these pics.

You're welcome Ann . We marvel at their amazing beauty every time that we have seen them  . One last set of photos before we return to El Calafate for a night's sleep before leaving for Chile and a day trip to Torres del Paine .

We had previously ordered dinner at the hotel which gives them time to prepare the food . When you show up at the appointed time - it's ready . Fast food done right . We saw Pisco Sours on the menu so that was our starter .

I can't tell you how much I am enjoying reading about your days.

Your pictures are wonderful.  So clear and bright, and the colours!  What kind of camera are you using?

Looking forward to reading more.

Thanks again.

Thank you and good morning . I use a Canon D 6 , a Canon SL 1 SLR and a Sony RX-100 III pocket camera . Pat uses a Sony DHC-HX90V  Pocket camera with a built in 200mm lens .
