According to the Port Everglades web site Equinox is scheduled to dock on tomorrow at 10:00 AM.

www.marinetraffic.com has the same ETA, other online ship trackers vary by a few hours, but I believe Marinetraffic to be the best updated tracker, and it also matches the port's own website.

Another picture of the new Retreat Lounge:

This  looks darker than the pic in post 295.......that one looked very barren and did not show  such dark paneling,  can't tell if that is a door or window ( most likely) behind the curved seating.

If they ever make a suite lounge elsewhere,  closer to the upstairs retreat deck, .this could be a great jazz club/ piano bar for everyone!

Actually this picture makes the lounge look much nicer.  Getting excited to see in person!  Is captain Kate still on the Equinox?  Hope she is in August.

I was just picturing a jazz trio with piano for this space... It has potential.

Those are the existing windows that were mostly covered in the old Michael's Club.  Looks like they're allowing a lot more light to filter in... a  good idea.

Thanks for the information Mary Lou. Yes, I was confused. So happy to hear no Hoppin changes to suites. We have our first in Sept. The "window" picture of the Retreat  looks a lot better than that first picture. More light is a good thing.

I thought the balcony was getting refreshed?

New furniture but that's it. There aren't many changes they could make to the balcony itself. That picture is also not new. The hull is still in white paint.

I was hoping for (at least some) Hoppen updates to the (Solstice class) suites. So... what are they going to get - some balcony furniture, and.... ??

I guess time will tell.

(and I probably really need to lower my expectation bar!!!)

Looking good...I saw her on her last cruise before heading across the pond...the paint on the exterior was needed.

Y'all go easy on her, the Bride and I are sailing in Sept...looking forward to more interior pics, etc.

I think you are mistaking the original matrix with the revised matrix.  The new suites were not added so the Sky Lounge remains the same.  The interior cabins were also not added. Not sure about the Passport Bar but reports indicate the casino was not changed either (I don't gamble so didn't pay too much attention to that area). Suites were refreshed but did not get the Hoppen updates and the Suites Retreat deck did not get the hot tub. Just a few more days until we start seeing pictures from cruisers.

I wonder if any TA's will be invited on board for a sneak peek when she reaches Ft. Lauderdale, or will they be too busy cleaning up and restocking.

As a non-Suite traveller I am very happy that these so called „upgrades“ have not been made on Equinox and for that reason she is now my favorite ship in the Celebrity fleet until next dry dock. If I would look for an upscale suite experience I would book a smaller five star line like Crystal, Regent or Viking Ocean anyway. On the big mass market ships like MSC or NCL or Oasis class you are on a small peaceful island in the middle of the big stormy and noisy ocean. Not worth the money for me.

Just watched her from over the pond on the webcam.....

So excited and like you we aren’t cruising until September either!

All the best for your wedding...

I hope all of those on the first cruise have a fantastic time and share your pictures with us!
