Soda card question

I just purchased soda cards for my upcoming cruise on the Carnival Dream. On my receipt it stated to go the the promenade cafe to activate our cards once we are on board. I’m not familiar with the promenade cafe and I don’t see it on the deck plans. Has anyone gone through this before?

My guess is they are referring to the Plaza Cafe, at the back of the Ocean Plaza area, on deck 5, the Promenade Deck.

 

A recent Dream cruiser could clarify with more certainty.

I would guess the Plaza Cafe on Promenade Deck as well.

They say that but you can really go to any bar that sells the package and they will do it. We just went on a cruise in Jan and the shoreside said one thing but that really isn't how it was on the ship.

It also said that on my recent Splendor cruise, but I was able to go to any bar to activate it.

My receipt for our soda packages didn't say anything about getting them activated. Obviously that is something I will need to do......

That happens the first time you use it.  No worries!

I have found that they usually have a table set-up on the Lido somewhere that you can purchase and activate your pre-purchased Bubbles and Cheers.

Just off Conquest 2/2.  We always get the soda package.  Just go to any bar and they will put a sticker on your card after looking you up.
