Hotel After Cruise

Hi All,

 

We are staying in PR one night after our Freedom cruise in May because of flight timing on Sunday.  Just wondering if anyone knows of a nice hotel that will let us come right from the ship (9 or 10am) even though checkin is later in the afternoon.  Anyone done it?

We always leave the ship, walk or taxi to the hotel and drop off our luggage because it is always before check in time.  Every hotel we have stayed at in either OSJ or on the beach has let us do that.  You won't be the only ones.  You can then go explore and come back at check in time.

Last two cruises, we stayed at an AirBnB after the cruise.  Check in is between you and the owner.

We made reservations at the Marriott Stellaris in Condado and they let us check in after disembarking the ship.

Any hotel will let you check in and leave the bags with them.  There is no way to know when you might get your room at any hotel, in San Juan or anywhere else.  It all depends on the status of the rooms/reservations/cleaning staff.  We've gotten our room sometimes in SJU at 9:30AM, and sometimes at 2:00PM.  At many different hotels.
