We love Hobart too, never had an overnighter there, but a couple of late departures, around midnight before slipping around the corner to Port Arthur.

We have done 3 overnighters and would do another tomorrow.

First day hire a car ,there’s a Avis just near the chancellor hotel.

Get back about drinking time ,when that little monkey on your shoulder starts whispering in your ear that it’s time for a drink .

second day hang around town.

We’ve cruised there many times and had land trips, nearly moved there a few times and mix and match over many visits what you do in the two days.

Road trips, either up to Ross or Richmond (any further is too far) or down South, or if a Saturday Salamanca markets or just wander around town, a couple of times Mrs Gut has spent the day in the Archives office or down at the Uni, and I’ve just had a wander while waiting for her.

be there again in December, I think we will head down South again, subject to orders from above.  I seem to recall it’s an 11:00 PM sail out this year, again a short jump around the corner to Port Arther where I expect it will be another day at Point Puer for some more photos.

Were still here on Crystal Serenity leaving around lunch time - Azamara Quest sailed out last night

We have been lucky to coincide with Regatta Day (public holiday) and a regatta of Wooden Ships over the weekend with a sail pass at 4pm on Monday

Mother nature chipped in as well - showers over our two days but a couple of great rainbows

These shots on how we were docked with two ships in port - Serenity was closest to the city and Azamara at the other dock

Cilli just realized it was 2 years not 1 year

We did it two years in a row,at about this time.

I don't think ovation is doing it anymore, let's see if the new season has it ,

The new season is released in about 4weeks
