Decent snorkeling from shore?

Hi, we are experienced snorkelers looking for decent shore snorkeling. Any suggestions? Thanks!

IMHO, the best direct off shore snorkeling is in Culebra.  And it's some of the best I've ever done.  That works if you have plans to spend a few days in Puerto Rico, though.

 

I've seen people snorkeling and diving in one of the harbors in San Juan, but we've never done it, so I can't say how good or bad it is....
