Ok - I don't claim to be a photographer, in fact I'm far, far from one so please excuse the shadows etc:

This is the box we received them in - it measures about 4 ½" by 6" by 3" deep.

It has an easy open tab - thank goodness

And here they are! But wait? Did we get promoted to Elite? Don't they kinda look black to you? Alas, we are still only platinum

Ok, so now you know our full names. Shhhh, Let's keep it just between us, ok?

This was under the medallions, one large box, two smaller boxes each one with our name on it and two plastic cruise card holders:

Here's a closer look at just the boxes...I'm confused...where do we put the medallion?

It's just a thing of beauty, isn't it? The thingy wrapped in white is a clip that attaches the lanyard to the medallion holder

Someone asked for instructions so I took these which really provide no instructions at all... I rotated them in my photos but can't figure out how to do it here. I told you I'm no photographer!!!

You must be all giddy! Have the most fun you can!!!!!

You called it right. I am soooo excited!!!

Ok, full disclosure - this is our third time on the Regal and I don't even know how many times we've been to the islands (living in South Florida and all). Life hands out a lot of lemons and we certainly have had our share but I've become an expert at making lemonade. I choose to focus on the good and if being lucky enough to cruise for a week on a beautiful ship to tropical islands isn't the epitome of good, I just don't know what is!

Glad to hear the level of excitement. If only I could get that giddy!. I know my DW does. LOL

Sure beats what happened to Charles. We sailed with them in the fall.

Look for the live from the pacific princess world cruise thread. His wife passed away on the world cruise they were on. We were on the 60 day with them just last fall.

Oh no, oh no, oh no. I always read his blogs and I haven't had a chance to read it yet but have seen it on the boards. His are always so detailed that I knew I had to have the time to dedicate.

Oh my goodness. I am so, so sorry.

Do you have to buy a wrist band ??

The package didn't come with one. We bought a retractable badge holder from Amazon on the advice of another poster. The larger white box in the package was empty, by the way. I assume one day we'll be able to order and pay for accessories prior to the medallions being sent. Ocean ready already has the ability, they just don't have any additional accessories online yet. I think you can buy the wristband once onboard.

OK - Am I the only one who wishes Princess wouldn't spend money on these and send these out? Give me a cruise card any day. Sorry.

Enjoy your medallions.

At least they're not asking you to implant a chip in your hand.....yet!:classic_biggrin:

My husband used his FitBit Zip wristband for his Medallion.  It was $6.99 on Amazon.  Of course, shipping would be extra unless you have Prime.

Can you send a picture of how this worked? Not familiar with the wristband.

No.

Since we booked our cruise last minute, we got our Medallions when we checked in.  The cruise cards were already in a clear plastic holder and the Medallion in a separate plastic holder.  Both were attached to a single lanyard.

Below is the link to the one my DH bought on Amazon.  He bought it for his FitBit but discovered it worked well for the Medallion.  He did say it is a little difficult to do the clasp.  Newer models may be better.
