NoleFam20 Posted February 12, 2019 #1 Share Posted February 12, 2019 A few quick questions...we don't have the FTTF, so would you check in your small carry on suitcase? It has my CPAP machine and extras. Second, if you have the Cheers package do you get free drinks at the Red Frog Pub? I see where the food is $3.33 and there are prices for drinks - just didn't know if the drinks are covered in the package. Last...does the Casino do 'happy hour' for the table games? MSC had cheaper bids (e.g. $3 bids instead of $5) on sea days between 9am and 11am for their table games. Thanks!
cccer Posted February 12, 2019 #2 Share Posted February 12, 2019 If you have a small carry on, I would not check it unless you can do without it. Odds are that it will arrive at your door but there have been instances when bags get misplaced for a good amount of time. I just put the essentials in my carry on and check the rest. If you have Cheers, "free" drinks are included with that service as long as they qualify under the Cheers rules (no towers, pitchers, etc.). But you can get any beer or mixed single drink under $20. I love their bloody mary. As far as "happy hour" on table games, I don't think I have ever seen them lower their limits on game unless it is really dead and it still will not go lower than the set minimum of $6 ($5 bet with 1$ sucker bet for BJ or $6 bet). Sometimes a 25 will go down to 10 but not lower than 6. And to tell you the truth, the tables are usually busy throughout the day and night. SadieN Posted February 12, 2019 #4 Share Posted February 12, 2019 Carry on anything you cannot afford to lose. At worst board around 1, close to when the cabins open.
jjcruiselover Posted February 12, 2019 #5 Share Posted February 12, 2019 I would never check my husband's c-pap machine. This would be a must have and the chance that it could get lost or damaged is not worth it for the minor inconvenience of carrying it around for a short bit before the rooms are ready and you could drop it off. emoorehead Posted February 13, 2019 #7 Share Posted February 13, 2019 Directly from Carnival's site RE c-pap machines: CPAP MACHINES Carnival permits guest who use BIPAP, CPAP, Concentrator, and Nebulizers onboard. You must bring your own equipment on board for personal use. Please hand-carry these items and do not place them in your checked luggage. There is one electrical outlet in each stateroom located in the area of the desk/vanity. The outlet is equipped with a 3-prong 110 volt (North America Grounded) and a 220 volt (Europe German-Style). It is recommended that you bring your own extension cord to accommodate your equipment comfortably.
riffatsea Posted February 13, 2019 #8 Share Posted February 13, 2019 There are prices listed for drinks at all the bar areas. You don't get "free" drinks . You have paid for them in your pkg. The pkg covers drinks up to a certain price. For example at the alchemy bar there is a martini tasting one can do for $20. That is not covered by your pkg. Normal drinks at the other bars(including Red Frog) are covered too. This is what is NOT included: Beverages excluded from the program are: Beverages promoted and sold in souvenir glasses Bottles of liquor Beverages offered at the gangway Beverages offered through room service, mini bars and/or other in-stateroom beverage programs Sharing cocktails, floaters, pitchers, tubes and buckets Beverages offered through enomatic wine machines Freshly squeezed orange juice served in the Havana Bar All other beverage-related programs including merchandise, cigars and cigarettes Food items
