Please tell us about Jolly Beach/ Jolly Resort

We were on 1/27/19 sailing on Dawn. We went to Darkwood and loved it. However, many other cruisers on the shuttle got off at Jolly. My wife was concerned about some incidents she read about on Antigua, so maybe we do Jolly for safety reasons next cruise.

We spend a lot of time in the water or walking the beach.  Hopefully, easy in and out of water and beautiful sand like Darkwood.

Can someone explain fee to get in, difference between public beach and resort, and any other first hand feedback. Thanks,😎😎😎

We stopped at Jolly Beach during a tour to let those that had opted for beach time do so.. Sorry but we were glad we hadn't opted for this after checking out the beach and using the restroom....not impressed at all. And while we only drove past Darkwood it certainly would have been the beach we would have opted for. However best of luck and enjoy whatever works out for you.
