Nieuw Amsterdam J rooms?

There are a couple of CQs, forward facing window OV rooms on Panorama Deck that look like they are larger than the usual OV rooms, going by the footprint on the deck plan and descriptions from previous passengers.  Have a look at 10001 and 10002 (both center) and the corner rooms, 10004 and 10003.  You can see pictures and description of these rooms on a site that will come up if you google for HAL facts;  check on that site for both Nieuw Amsterdam and sister ship Eurodam, both Signature Class.

How they compare to the J is harder to answer; the rooms are laid out very differently and, to me, square footage is only one factor.

We were told footprint wise they are bigger rooms is there a window room the same square footage ? Not counting the veranda or Suites?

they are massive  and the best value   you would have to get a SS suite to equal or better the J/K  there are only a few...  turn on the TV if you want a view  You were told they are larger...Go and look at the deck plan they are a good 50% larger than outside OV cabins !!!   Look for your self and be amazed
