Mjasp Posted January 19, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 19, 2006 I am thinking of doing the Dunns River Falls with the Relax at Dolphins Cove Beach excursion. Has anyone done this excursion through Costa? It states that there are busses regularly available at 10 minute intervals so you can leave the beach at your leisure. Just wondering if this beach is very close to the pier? Is the beach a nice family beach like the excursion description states. Any info would be appreciated. lanajest Posted January 20, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 20, 2006 We did the same excursion with Carnival, don't remember about the distance from the pier, but the "beach" was not really a beach. Very little sand, and a lot of rocks in the area. Can't go in the water without shoes! The dolphin experience was also a little disappointing. For $100.00 per person, the dolphin swims back in forth in front of you, and you get to have your picture taken (of course at an additional expense). The plus side is it is very secluded area, not crowded and very good food.
Mjasp Posted January 20, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted January 20, 2006 The excursion I am looking at is at Dolphin Cove but it is NOT a dolphin touch or swim, it is Dunns River Falls and a beach break excursion, it is $60 per adult and it states a great family beach. I need a beach, just about now. LOL
