crusingchicks Posted April 9, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 9, 2004 I can't seem to do anything on the Carnival website. I tried to register my son as a member....nothing happens. NO password assigned. I tried to look at rates....nothing. I try to email them...nothing. I am getting very frustrated. Is anyone else????? ljrfrm Posted April 9, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 9, 2004 I couldn't even get to the site yesterday - just got a message that it was "under construction". Maybe they're trying to fix those kinks....hope so, because I like the new site better. Jasonsterling Posted April 9, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 9, 2004 I've not had trouble getting on but it can't find any past cruises I've been on- Oh well and I haven't gotten the booking number from my TA for my upcoming cruise so no clock! Of course it took three seperate passwords from Carnival to actually be able to log on and set up my own password. Otherwise the site looks good- it would be great if they'd get price for shore tours in place and maybe go further and allow booking of tours online. ginag Posted April 9, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 9, 2004 Same here. Although I am a registered guest, it can't find my past guest #. Guess I'll try and call Carnival today and see if they will help.Very frustrating! Retired LEO Posted April 9, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 9, 2004 When I try to get my past guest number this is what I get every time "Past guest number found has already been associated with a user" I'd like to see my past cruises show up. Cruise Dragon Posted April 9, 2004 #6 Share Posted April 9, 2004 I didn't have any problem. I asked them to send me a new password then I cut and pasted the password to sign on and I was all set. I have read that passwords are case-sensitive. As a rule I always cut and paste a password that is sent to me, just in case it is case-sensitive. I alslo read in another thread that the name on the reservation/booking number has to be the sme as on the webpage. not sure if this is true or not. Jeepers385 Posted April 9, 2004 #7 Share Posted April 9, 2004 I've tried everything w/this website to get the weekly emails (still don't get them) and get my past guest #, ended up calling & talking to customer service and even they couldn't give me my guest #. They have me in the system and told me to call them again in a month since I just cruised in February that it may take a couple of months to activate, never heard of this. With RCL I came home called them and they gave me the # over the phone and started getting C&A booklet the next time they printed. With Princess as soon as I got home did everything online & received info right away. crusingchicks Posted April 10, 2004 Author #8 Share Posted April 10, 2004 I'm glad to hear it's not just me. They are so close to having a great site. A few days ago it was working fine. I saw my past cruise history, even the stateroom numbers. Has anyone talked to them directly on when they will work these problems out?? dental217 Posted April 10, 2004 #9 Share Posted April 10, 2004 I sailed in early January and i was told the same thing. I don't have a past guest number yet. Don't see why it should take so long.
