Has anyone used Celebrities Private Journeys and can share their experience?  We're they able to accommodate your bespoke requirements?  Was the cost reasonable?

 

I am cruising to Israel in 2020 and the itinerary has an overnight in Ashdod.  I'm considering contacting the Destination Concierge to see if they can arrange for a tour of Jerusalem and the surrounding areas with a hotel night in Jerusalem instead of returning to the ship.  Would that be something they could arrange?

Yes that is something that they can arrange.   My experience has been that Private Journey is relatively expensive (about 2x what you might be able to book on your own regardless if it is a tour or Limo).   Most tour companies can book a 2 day tour with or without a hotel.

 

If have heard of a number of people that have overnighted in port instead of returning to the ship.   As you will be in the same port you will not have to apply to leave the ship.
