Help w Kayak/Paddleboard on St Maarten

Hey there!  Looking to rent a kayak or stand-up-paddleboard (SUP).  Ideally, is there a place to rent equipment right near a beach, so I can paddle around, while my husband lays on the beach?   If not, what’s the next best option?  Thanks all

Caribbean paddling rents out kayaks and SUP.     They might be a good place to start.

Caribbean paddling is only if you are going to Pinel Island.  Which is super fun!  It's about a 25 minute drive to Cul De Sac where you get the rentals.  On the island there are two restaurants.

That's incorrect.  On their website they clearly offer rentals - https://www.caribbeanpaddling.com/weekly-rental

Some require 2 days but they do offer rentals to local places.

Tri-sport in Simpson bay rents kayaks. It’s on the lagoon side of the bay but you can go out through the bridge to the beach and ocean if you want.
