that we could book pre-cruise for 1 or 2 nights

what is the name of the Hotel we can see left from the dock ?

does it offer a stay and cruise package so you can leave your car there ?

can you catch a boat tour there ?

1st time poster here ... but poster on the Princess forum

thanks, and I'm sure to have other questions, and will definitely come back to check responses

"Right on the water"?  Are you referring to an oceanfront hotel?  Thinking that you are not and may be referencing hotels that can be seen from Terminal 2, the Princess terminal, the tall round tower hotel is the Pier 66 Hotel.  Another hotel in view to the West of Pier 66 is the Hilton Marina Hotel.  There is a Renaissance Hotel West of the Hilton with an Embassy Suites near-by as well.

If you want something 'on the water' like a beach front where you can see the ships leave, try the Lago Mar.  It's about a quarter mile north of the ship channel leaving Port Everglades.  You can easily walk down to the levee to watch the  ships leave.  Google maps will show you where.
