Atlantis Water Park on Mariner of the Seas

Recommended Posts

I booked the Atlantis Water Park from Mariner of the Seas, on the April 1 sailing.  I'm just wondering why the excursion is only 5 hours when we don't leave port till almost midnight? What if we want to stay in the park longer? Could we just get our own cab back to the ship? $200 each is a lot to spend for 5 hours.

Yes, no problem.  Taxi is $4 per person.

Not sure when water park closes but somewhere between 5 and 6:30 depending on season.  Beach and pools open later.  You go back to ship on your schedule.  Easy to get a cab back if you miss all the buses (which leave on the hour exactly).  Water park doesn't open until 10 so no point getting there earlier unless you have a dolphin experience or want to just use a pool.

The tour will walk you from the east end of the property (bus/cab) through lobby and casino to west end to enter park.  Long walk.  You won't need towels - these are available throughout the property.  You WILL need a photo ID and credit card to get any food and drinks.  They don't take cash in the Aquaventure area and require a photo ID with all credit card use.  You can exit through the aquarium if you want to see that.

Book it yourself. Way cheaper. and come and go as you please. Super easy to do on your own and you'll get there before people that booked on cruise ship.. Take  land taxi there and back,Not water taxi.
