Distilled Water for CPAP

Can we request distilled water required for a CPAP machine before we embark? Is there a charge for this?  On ocean cruises that we have done we could request ahead of time and it was in the cabin upon our arrival.  There usually was a charge for it but not much.  Also,  would we have to bring an extension cord as was the case on our ocean cruises.  We are a long way off from departure but might as well ask the question while I think of it.

I have requested it each time with Uniworld and they have provided distilled water at no charge. Other cruise lines might be different. I also carry a liter bottle in my check in luggage which is enough for several days.

Call or e-mail the cruise line you are traveling with and  ask. You can then put in your request or at least know when you have to call back to take care of it.

Yes, but not all cruise lines permit extension cords, especially river boats. Check your cruise line.

Viking will supply it just email or call them and they will make sure it's in your room when you get there.  If for any reason it's not just ask housekeeping.

 Don't know what kind of a machine your husband has but I have one of the new ResMed machines with the removable water chamber. I didn't take my water chamber with me when I went on the Rhine this past winter and was quiet comfortable-and I did not need distilled water.

Our experience on Viking was to simply ask the room stewart and he provided a large container immediately. No charge.
